Pict Analyzer Project

PictAnalyzer is a basic image viewer that supports the following formats: jpg, png, pict, tiff, targa (.tga), pcx, pgm, and simple DICOM files. The program has the following features:

  • Convert the image into one of the following color modes: RGB, YIQ, Greyscale, YUV, CMY.
  • Display the intensity of each color channel as a greyscale image.
  • Play animation for the file formats that support multiframes.
  • Display the histogram for each color channel (depending on the current color model of the image).
  • Compare the histograms of two images of the same size.

*A portable C++ class library Paintlib was used for image loading, saving and manipulation.

Classroom Instructino Aid (CIA) Project

CIA - Class Instructor Aid - is a database-driven web-application designed
to help an instructor to keep track of students, assignments and materials for a class, to keep track of multiple classes during a semester, and to keep track of multiple courses. The application is implemented using PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript with MySQL database back-end. Incremental Life-Cycle Model and UML (Using Visio and Rational Rose) were used in this team-oriented 4-months project.
